Stupid Referee's on FIFA 11

Why the hell is it that when playing online on fifa 11, whether it be FIFA clubs or ultimate team or just online, do the referee's seem to give pathetic freekicks away. For example, simply getting the ball off the opposing player when no contact whatsoever has been made. This always seems to be the problem when playing FIFA 11 for me and my friends and it's just stupid, EA needs to sort this out for FIFA 12 :).
