I've been playing around 10 matches the past 2 days, and ALL of my opponents quit on me and it's driving me mad. I get no points - my online points are still 1027, as they were 2 days ago. I think EA should do something about this problem, and I've got some suggestions :)
1) Performancepoints are still awarded as if the game ended like it should. The points you get for winning/losing should be awarded as the score was when the match ended. This really shouldn't givee EA headaches :)
2) The person who didn't quit should be awarded points as if he had won 3-0 - I think this is what's supposed to happen, but I just don't get any points....
Feel free to add suggestions to what EA can do, hopefully they will hear us! :)|||When they quit you should be able to finish the game against the computer.|||
I am very close to giving up on Fifa 11 online. Reason: your opponent quitting when you're winning. :)

This is what i've seen, if an opponent leaves the match BEFORE 10 MINS he doesn't lose points and i don't gain points anything after that you gain points and a win and the oppenent loses points and gets a lose this SYSTEM IS FAIR|||It's fair to a point.
There have been any amount of times when I've scored in the first couple of mins and been quit on immediately, therefore the game didn't count.
Quitting doesn't bother me per se, so long as you get the points / defeat etc... but the 10min rule should be discounted once a goal is scored.

i totally agree that something needs to be done, i too have come close to quitting online because of these idiots that quit! i was playing the best game ever we was equally matched oppontants we was drawing 2-2 coming to the last few minutes of 2nd half extra time everyone is thinking its going to penalites when all of a sudden gerrard makes a dash down the left wing crosses into the box Kuyt gets his head on the end of it ... its in 3-2 im in the lead....back to kick off with a swift tackle ive got the ball again in the just outside the box gerrard is out of postion i pass the ball its the last second of the game he hits it with his laces it sails though the air in the back of the net 4-2 the game is mine its stuff that dreams of made of.....but before i could finish celebrating my last minute win, thinking that the other guy on the end of this playstation is an alright guy i get that message .... CONNECTION LOST/TERMINATED AKA THE OTHER GUY HAS SHUT YOU DOWN!!!!
something drastic needs to be done about this i agree with a suggestion earlier that if someone is to quit on you during the game does not matter at what point that is 1min or 90th minute if it was a genuie accident or someone did it on purpose then the game should be forfieted by that player and they should lose by 3 goals to 0....just like you would if you forfiet a game while playing in career mode!
sorry this has been a long post but i had to get my feelings across about this matter and the pain i suffered from that game! i just hope that EA take note an but a new patch out for the game and dont make us wait till FIFA 12 it may be too late by that point!

yes i agree its not as satisfying as the win i would of had however i feel that we should benifit from some form of win rather than absoulty nothing just because they decided to terminate the game!
